I had a conversation with a fellow photographer and friend yesterday, peeps, COVID has hit our industry really hard. (I’m not saying it’s only us, but it is very, very real to us) The devastation to our business’ are tremendous and the uncertainty especially tangible.⁠

This image, sets my soul on fire. Not because this is where my heartbreak lies, but this is were I KNOW I can serve!

Okay so that, was my original two cents I wanted to share with you, but the more I read it, the more I realised that in this image might be exactly where my heart break lies.
Many of you might not know this about me, and many do, but I am part of the 10% that are affected by secondary infertility.
I have always wanted at least 4 kids. Yes I said AT LEAST.
Within a month after our decision that the time is right for babies, I was pregnant with our first, our second however took 4 years.
Our 3rd is still in the making after 6 years.
Being a birth photographer and doula, many have asked how my heart’s not breaking, working with babies all day everyday.
This is however how very gracious God has been to me, instead of reminding me of my pain and heartbreak, He reminds me of His hope, His love, His plan and purpose EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

He is setting my soul on fire, right here where my heart break lies, because here is where He needs me to serve.
