Newborn Neri Adel Els
All the darkness in the world, can not extinguish the light from a single candle” – Francis of Assis
I have never heard the name Neri before, but instantly liked it and when I did some “googling” found that “The name Neri is a girl’s name of Hebrew, Greek origin meaning “burning light”. How gorgeous is that?
Meet the “burning light” in the Els household. She was calm and content throughout our whole session, whatching me intently with those big blue eyes. She was a little older when we did her newborn session therefore wide awake and this is one of the many reasons I prefer and love a newborn “lifestyle” sessions so much more than a posed session. I don’t think I need to ask, but did you see that hair? I instantly fell in love!
Oh, and looking at these gorgeous colour schemes, could you guess her mom has an eye for interior decorating?

Racing Towards Miracles: The Journey to Leroux Rein’s Birth
It was incredible to whisper courage into your ears and see you take leaps moments later towards our freedom. You had many holes in your body, but I tried to hold your hand through this time and be there as much as possible, so that you wouldn’t go through it alone. Some holes in your body, some in mine. Daddy and I took turns to cover the day shift as well as the night shift.
