Personal Blogs | A Family Affair
Meet my family. These were taken at Zinkwazi Beach on our every 2nd year annual family holiday, which is a fun, meddling, loving, crazy, interfering, protective, dysfunctional time of togetherness, filled with hugs and kisses.
This post is way overdue as we were blessed with 2 new members added to this crazy bunch, since these were taken. The heart of our family is growing in leaps and bounds this year as we are adding another little one before the end of the year, taking the grand children count from 3 to 6. And might I add that you will not find prouder grandparents then the ones in these pictures.
Every single member of this clan is a little nutty in their own way but strangely this close unit is what’s keeping us sane in this crazy world we live, love and laugh in.
Love you all insanely and will fight and protect you passionately!
(Thanks mum for the pictures taken of Kayla and I. LOOOOOOVE every one of them. And thank you to Mallie (my brothers friend) for taking the Family portrait.)

“I have been delaying writing my birth story. It has taken me a while to process the events from that day, and the days and few weeks following, and to be okay with not writing a ‘perfect’ story with perfect English. I truly hope that being real about the latter, and that which follows, will make at least one other mom out there, facing a similar experience, feel less alone in having had a ‘good but not perfect’ birth
I have had the privilege to work with many wonderful doulas and I would like to say thank you! Thank you not only for your servant heart but also for what you are doing for woman. In a place of vulnerability you aid us in being strong, in a place of insecurities you reassure, in a place of fear you speak hope!
